Smart Tower
Volcanos and cenotes are significant elements of the Mexican territory and they are opposite in shape and appearance.
These fundamental figures influenced the basic concept of the project: upon an area completely raised from the street level, comparable to a plateau, are standing the elements of the tower – the analogue of the volcano – and the holes – equivalent of the cenotes.
The building is a 30 - floor high skyscraper. The slabs are emerging from the perimeter in an arbitrary way, to liven up the façades and create a movement through a series of protuberances and recesses; those can be either open terraces or air-conditioned spaces. This design articulates the volume of the building in its entirety.

Two technical “green” floors have a double function: they purify the air thanks to selected plants and they introduce clean and temperature-controlled air inside the building, in order to reduce the global energy consumption.
