The IKEA Store in Roncadelle (Brescia, Italy) was built in 2005 and was in need of renovation and expansion, due to the construction of the adjacent new Shopping Center.

The development of the construction occurred in two phases:

-     Rebuilding: the renovation of some inner spaces, in order to maintain the regular store activity, even after the inauguration of the new Shopping Center;
-     Extension: expansion of the car park to the east side, upgrade of the market hall and showroom at the store level and at the exit area.

Since the commercial activity has been always operative throughout all the renovation works, a temporary entrance was built to allow a safe access to the clients. New external emergency stairs were added, because – once the new Shopping Center is completed – the overall crowding capacity would increase. The firm furthermore supported the building site supervision during the realisation of the new entrance hall, in particular the fulfilling of the terrace and Front Shop.
