The project site is situated in the northeast on Florence, near Fardella della Torrearsa square.

Parallel to Sirtori Street, there are all the spaces reserved to school activities, such as the classrooms, the labs and the administrative offices, together with some other special labs and the technical rooms for machinery and equipment of plant design.

In the volume parallel to Cento Stelle Street, tied to the first one through a glazed gallery – which highlights the detachment of the two – there are the auditorium, the library and the sports hall, alongside their service areas.

Beside Sirtori Street, at the ground floor, there is the main entrance, with a wide and luminous hall; from it two corridors lead to the classrooms. The choice to design a fragmented corridor recalls the leitmotiv of the whole project: the idea of movement and irregularity, which is present in both the architectonical and structural design.
